Signing off
Once the design is complete, the designer will go through all the details with you to make sure we have all the instructions. This is covered in detail in the support section, but here are a few things that you will look at:
- Benchtop details
- Colours, two tone details, edging, type of doors etc
- Each cabinet, which way doors open
- Dimensions
- Critical requests (something special that you have told us about)

Once this is complete, the designer will re-quote and check the price. Things might have changed since the site measure - if we have taken something out, the price will go down - this obviously means that if we put extra things in, the price will go up! Generally the price only varies by a few dollars.
At this point you will be asked to sign a purchase agreement/terms and conditions, and you will need to pay a 40% deposit to put the job into production. We cannot start any job until this has been paid, so delays in that payment will delay your kitchen!
Finally you will be sent a confirmation via email or in the post. This is to give us time to check everything is correct and fully dimension the plan. Again, you will be directed to our support section for help here, but here are a couple of tips:
- Throw away all previous designs and quotes - they will only confuse you!
- The confirmation is very important - check it! Get in touch with us if you spot an issue or don't understand anything.
- Don't assume anything!
By far the most common cause of problems is customers not checking their plans!
