Initial Quote

We need you to come down to the showroom to enable us to get a good idea of what you need. It is very time consuming going back and forth with customers who try to get quotes via fax or email. It only takes an hour....

  • Explain the dimensions briefly and let the deisgner put the basics into the computer.
  • Give the designer an idea of the things that are most important to you.
  • Let the designer come up with a first concept.
  • Use that concept as a start point to work from.
  • On completion the designer will print out a 3D graphic, or can email the image if you prefer.
  • You will also recieve an itemised quote.

 Tips

  • The quoting process is a two way process, but you need to let the designer come up with a start point before you can really get into it.
  • Relax - nothing is set in stone - you can change things very easily.
  • Remember that the designer has never been to your house - give them a chance to get a feel for your needs.
  • Don't stress over small details at this staqe - leave colours, materials and handles until later on - get the layout agreed upon first.
  • Don't spend too much time designing before you book a site measure. Your site measure might not be accurate, so any detail work is a waste of time!
