What happens during installation?

The installer generally arrives after the kitchen is delivered. If for some reason he is held up, he will ring to let you know, but generally the installer will be on site between 8am and 10am depending on the size of the job. If it is a small job he may well finish off another job in the morning and come to you in the afternoon - if this is the case, he will ring you to let you know.

If you are worried that you have not heard from anyone and you need to go out, don't get stressed, simply phone the showroom to inquire what is happening. This is rare, but we all forget to make a phone call now and then!

The installer will set up his tools and make a start. Here are a few tips;

  1. Please don't stand over the installer watching his every move. Nobody likes to work with someone watching over their shoulder - let the professionals do their job!
  2. If you want to get involved, ask the installer what you can do to help - I am sure he will welcome you with open arms!
  3. If you have to go out, make sure you are contactable.
  4. Make sure you can get back on site if the installer needs to ask you any questions.

Installation is a messy job, there is dust, power tools and lots of noise, so;

  • Keep kids and pets out of the way
  • Be ready for the disruption
