Delivery

You can choose to deliver the kitchen yourself. The pick up address is

50 Portage Rd, New Lynn, Auckland

If you have chosen for us to deliver (wise choice!) then we shall deliver between 7.30 and 10am on the day of installation.

However, there are times when we need to deliver the afternoon before the due date;

  • There are too many deliveries in one day (this means that we would deliver too late for the installer to finish on time)
  • Your house is too far away from the factory - this means that there is traffic issues and also it takes too long for the truck to get to your house.

In either case, this will be discussed at sign off.

You will be notified the day before delivery to remind you that your kitchen is being delivered. You will also recieve a phone call one week out from installation to make sure everything is on track!

When the kitchen arrives, it will seem like there is a lot of stuff - more than you ordered! Relax, simply check the items off against the checklist with the carrier.

Things might not look right - it's not installed yet, so again, relax and trust us, we know what we are doing - here are some common freak outs....

  • The cabinets are on plastic feet - don't worry, they will be covered by the toekick and the panels
  • The doors don't line up - the cabinets are not level, all the doors will be adjusted once they are installed and the cabinet is fixed properly.
  • The drawers rub on each other - again, wait until they are installed - the installer will sort that out.
  • I can see raw edges of panels - you won't once it is finished. There are many raw edges in kitchen cabinets, this is standard practice. We only clash what is visible.
  • The appliances are white, I ordered stainless steel - this is the protective covering, it peels away.
  • There are no toggles for the benchtop join. They are usually fixed into a factory joined part of the top. They are to be used for the site join. Toggles do not affect the strength of the join, they simply clamp the top together while the glue dries.
  • The panels are too big. Panels are often made oversize so that the installer can scribe them into walls which are not square (they never are!)
