What is ISO 9001?

ISO - stands for International Standards Organisation. All the top companies around the world possess this standard. Its what some people call a kite mark.

Its awarded for the way we run our business. So it doesn't mean that we can just make a quality cabinet, it looks at how we put systems in place to make sure we are making the right cabinet.

We are constantly audited to make sure we are up to scratch. Heres some of the things we have to do;

  • Constantly improve our processes
  • Check everything we do at each stage
  • Make sure our measuring devices (machines, tape measures etc) are constantly checked
  • Make sure we have traceability so if something goes wrong, we don't make the same mistake again
  • Making sure we get things right first time
  • Checking that we obtain customer feedback and that we are customer focussed.

To our knowledge, there isn't another kitchen maker in NZ that has this standard that covers the enire process. Sure, there are a couple of manufacturers out there who are certified for the actual production, but whats the use of making great cabinets when the process before it is totally rubbish? (the site measure, the design - how that information is passed on to the factory).

There are many companies out there who will tell you how good they are, and you just have to take their word for it.

We are the only ones who can prove it!!
